ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER DRAMA. 早前 JACLYN HILL 推出的唇膏出現發霉和品質問題、JOJO SIWA 與 CLARIE’S 合作的化妝品系列，當中石棉含量亦超出危險水平而被收回，今次輪到 JEFFREE STAR X SHANE DAWSON 的眼影出事。雖然 JEFFREE STAR 一向以高品質及誠實的態度出名，亦是大部分人認同的「SELF-MADE MILLIONAIRE」，不過當粉絲從他的眼影盤發現有毛髮後，他也要向現實低頭道歉。
11月初的時候，JEFFREE STAR X SHANE DAWSON 眼影盤「CONSPIRACY PALETTE」正式推出。未開售已經叫粉絲瘋狂，開售那一刻更令整個網絡崩潰，短短30分鐘內售出了超過100萬盒 CONSPIRACY PALETTE；而全系列售罄亦是意料之內。獲得如此成功，皆因兩人合作的紀錄片《THE BEAUTIFUL WORLD OF JEFFREE STAR》展示出美容世界裏鮮為人知的秘密，包括化妝品的生產過程、與合作商的共識、每件產品所獲得的利潤等。在慶祝系列大賣的同時，卻有網友在 TWITTER 上分享收到了品質有問題的眼影盤，並發現有可疑的毛髮。

面對著如此劣評就猶如當初 JACLYN HILL 事件，JEFFREE STAR 在 TWITTER 公開道歉，並表示在 100 萬盒眼影盤中，大約有 35 盒出現含有毛髮或纖維的問題。實驗室同時進行調查找出問題所在，雖然他一直為自己產品的質量而感到自豪，會發生這樣的錯誤亦深表歉意。他亦保證製造商不會再發生這種情況，並採取了預防措施和步驟來避免毛髮的問題，而所有有問題的眼影盤已經進行更換或退款。對比起同行 JACLYN HILL 將品質問題合理化的態度，JEFFREE STAR 的應對的確較為成熟和深思熟慮，亦敢於承認問題及致歉。經過今次的品質問題後，你還會支持這位 OG YOUTUBER 嗎？
